Lived at Holyhead, Grew up in Queens park, Lived in Morawelon until his death.
Derek had 2 daughters Wendy Holloway (Parry), Deborah Doutch (Parry), and 2 grandchildren Bianca & Cai.
He had a stroke when he was 52, couldn't walk, talk feed etc, but he pulled through! Until he contracted MRSA and pneumonia and passed away at Penrhos Stanley Hospital, 2 days before his birthday.
My daido was my life, he was the best! He was the happiest person alive and not once after he got ill did he not smile. He cared for us all and that was never any trouble.
I grew up with him from the day i was born, the day he was taken away from us my world fell apart. Cai was only 2 and didnt understand but he will always be watching over us forever!
I wish we could turn the clock back and he would still be here not suffering, he was only young!
He was a character and made everyone laugh, thats why we will always remember him with laughter and smiles x x x
